The celebration of the 10th Season of the Murphy Fine Arts Center kicks the year off with one of America's top classical pianists, Leon Bates. 


Leon Bates is one of America's leading pianists.  He performs in concert halls to critical and audience acclaim at Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, the Hollywood Bowl, the Lincoln Center, to name a few.  He has performed with the great symphonies of the world such as  the Vienna Symphony, the Strasbourg Symphony in France.

 

Mr. Bates is also highly-regarded for his work with young people--advocating for, motivating, and teaching. In a given season, he performs dozens of residency programs, conducts master classes and recitals on college campuses. 


Master Class tickets will be available at the door of the Recital Hall on February 23rd.
