THE MORGAN TOUCH
Reflecting on Influence, Identity and Purpose
An Art Exhibition and Symposium
October 11 - December 15, 2012
This exhibition features works by 33 MSU alumni who were graduated from the Visual Art programs within the Department of Fine and Performing Arts. The exhibition will also include the work of current and former Fine Arts faculty members. This unique exhibition highlights the art department's accomplishments, and is presented in conjunction with a symposium: Reflecting on Influence, Identity and Purpose. These coordinated events will use observation (of the exhibition) and the dialogue (from the symposium) to produce and a foundation on which to build a stronger, more dynamic and more relevant future for the Visual Art program. The opening reception is at 5:30 PM on Oct 11, and the symposium begins at 6:30 PM . All events and the museum are free and open to the public.
