"Mother's Lament"
FREEDOM, LOVE & LIGHT
Premiering two new orchestral works by James Lee III
with the poetry of Vincent Dion Stringer

A concert of enlightenment, soothing, and love--for each other and for a community that needs uplifting, healing, and progress.  This will special event illuminates the city of Baltimore with the artistry that comes from an original orchestral work written by composer, James Lee III with poetry by Vincent Dion Stringer, performed by the Towson University Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Julien Benichou. 

The featured soloist in "Mother's Lament" is the acclaimed soprano, Marquita Lister. The Orpheus Music Global male chorus --comprised of a diverse assembly of choristers--will perform the choral portion of  "Mother's Lament."
